Oppo released the Find X5 series in February this year, so the X6 series is expected to launch at the same time next year. There are already the first reports on Weibo of what these phones will look like, and are expected to use two generations of the Snapdragon 8-series chips.
Flagship Oppo Find X6 Pro is expected to get the upcoming Snapdragon 8th Gen 2nd of course. It will likely have a 2K display (aka QHD+) and a camera with a 1-inch sensor. According to Digital Chat Station, OPPO, vivo and Xiaomi are all working on 1-inch camera phones for next year (Xiaomi has launched this year’s S Ultra).
As for the original Oppo Find X6, this one is expected to use Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, according to reports digital proxy 007. Oppo is rumored to be working on a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 version of the Find X5 (the original phone used 22), but the fast-approaching Find X6 could be coming soon just out of date. Anyway, it is said that there are 1.5K monitors, a new term that means 1, 599 px horizontal resolution.
Find X5 Pro is Oppo’s only phone with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 (currently So far), no 8+ Gen 1 phone
Find X5 Pro also has Dimensity version9000 chipset. It’s almost certain that MediaTek is working on a sequel chip, so it’s also possible that Oppo will use it for one of the Find X6 series.
Whatever chip the X6 flagships have, they will likely also feature custom MariSilicon for image processing as a standout feature for their Hasselblad cameras. However, we haven’t heard much about it yet.
