The
Critics Choice Association released the full list of its fifth annual awards on Monday Nominations are shortlisted for the awards, which recognize excellence in non-fiction, improv and reality programming across broadcast, cable and streaming platforms.
Drag Race Franchise Gets Two Best Competition Series Nominations, RuPaul Will Fight For Best Showrunner and star year. All Stars is also up for Best Ensemble Cast in an Unscripted Series.
“Looking at this year’s list of nominees, we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate our fifth annual Critics Choice Real TV Awards and not by calling attention to the many talented and diverse individuals who continue to make unscripted television an essential genre on broadcast, cable and streaming,” Critics Choice Association TV branch co-president Ed Martin said.
Due to the writers’ strike, the organization will forgo the live awards ceremony and announce this year’s winners via a special announcement in June .
