Despite rumors that Lane Kiffin will step down to take over Auburn as early as Friday, the Ole Miss head coach insists he has no plans to leave.

Lane Kiffin asked if he looks forward to coaching Ole Miss next season: “Yes, I would.”
Kiffin also reportedly responded to his report that he was due to depart earlier this week:

Do not . 20 Ole Miss fell to 8-4 on the season after a promising 7-0 start with a 24-22 loss to Mississippi State in the Egg Bowl on Thursday night.
Kiffin, who has been at the helm of Ole Miss since 2020, is now 23-12 during his school tenure.
While Auburn’s head coaching job is more prestigious, it doesn’t sound like Kiffin is planning to leave Ole Miss anytime soon. Whether that’s just posturing or a reasonable stance until the end of the season remains to be seen.
