Michael Levin, who at all -plus years of ABC daytime soap opera Ryan’s Hope, is dead. He was 90.
Levin died of natural causes in Northern on January 6 Westchester Hospital in Mount Kisco, New York, his son Jason Levine told The Hollywood Reporter .
Levin also appeared on Broadway in 1975 The Royal Hunt of The Sun opposite David Carradine and three 1970 plays: Tennessee Williams Tennessee Williams’ Camino Real (with Al Pacino), Sam Shepard’s Operation Sidewinder(with Garrett Morris
) and Bertolt Brecht’sThe Good Woman of Setzuan (with Colleen Dewhurst).
Ryan’s Hope, starting in July1965 to January 1989, starring Helen Gallagher and Bernard Barrow as the wife and husband of Johnny and Maeve Ryan, They run a New York City bistro called Ryan’s across from the hospital.
According to IMDb, Levine appeared in episode 1, 78 Soap, including the first and the last. Only Gallagher, Barrow and Nancy Addison (Jillian Coleridge) appear more frequently.
He and Kate Mulgrew (who plays Johnny and Maeve’s daughter Mary, a TV news reporter) make one of the most popular couples on daytime TV.

born December 8, Minneapolis, 90, Levin served two years in the US Navy, attended the University of Minnesota, performed in California with Jack Nicholson and Robert Blake lessons and honed his craft at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis since the opening of 90 .
