Quinta Brunson accepted the award on stage with actor Tyler James Williams, Janelle James, Lisa Ann Walter, Chris Perfetti and Sheryl Lee Ralph.
After thanking his peers for the honor, Bruson explained that the award means a lot, “because being part of this group means the world to me.”
“Unfortunately, fortunately, I spent a lot of time on all three,” she said, acknowledging her work as an actress, creator and producer on the sitcom character of. “When I was a part of this ensemble, these guys brought me back to reality. They made me a better actor. They made me an actor I could be proud of.”
After acknowledging that performing was sometimes the “hardest” part of her job, Brunson said that being part of the Abbott Elementary band “brings the I became a better actor.”
“Thank you for recognizing the work of these amazing people. They are the best and they are always fucking funny,” she continue. “They’re really funny and they’re good at acting. I’m in awe of all of them at every turn.”
Closing his speech, Brunson noted that the award It feels extra special because it’s from the other cast. “Peer awards are played differently, aren’t they?” She said her cast agreed. and only Building Murders are in the category.
