Exciting news from Paris today. French fashion house Saint Laurent presents fine jewelry. The brand’s creative director, Anthony Vaccarello, designed this foray into fine jewelry as a natural extension of the Saint Laurent runway style: clean, linear and metal-forward. Bracelets, earrings and necklaces are made of gold and diamonds, materials that are the main differentiators from the jewelry worn with the ready-to-wear on the catwalk. While some pieces are slender and similar in branding to the brand’s luxury handbags, the vast majority appear more or less anonymous to the uninitiated—jewellery designs spanning decades, Beyond trends.
Saint Laurent fine jewelry will be pre-ordered in designated flagship stores and online from May 2.
