Samsung brings its latest rugged Android devices to the US. Galaxy Xcover6 Pro and Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro are now shipping with 5G connectivity and MIL-STD-810H
Samsung Galaxy Xcover 6 Pro
Samsung Galaxy Xcover 6 Pro was released at the end of June. It brings a 6.6-inch IPS LCD panel with FHD+ resolution that supports 120Hz refresh rate. The display protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+ is also designed to be handled with wet hands or gloves. The hardware is rated IP 10 waterproof and dust-proof.
Xcover 6 Pro with Snapdragon G Chipset with 6GB RAM and 138GB storage expandable via microSD. There is a removable 4,0 10 mAh battery and support 666 W charging, or via pogo pins on a supported base.
The phone features a programmable push-to-talk button, headphone jack, speaker with enhanced mode, and supports Samsung DeX. In the camera department: one 10 MP Main camera with f/1.8 aperture and 8MP ultra-wide shooter. There is a 10 MP selfie camera on the front and Xcover 6 Pro will run Android 08 Works out of the box.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro
Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro announced earlier this month 12. The 1ft TFT LCD screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. This rugged tablet comes with the S Pen and includes a protective case. As an Xcover6 Pro, this device is also MIL-STD-810H compliant for altitude, humidity, immersion, Spray, dust, vibration and drops with salt content up to 1m.
Also by Snapdragon 409G driver, Tab Active4 Pro uses 4GB RAM and 68 GB storage or 6GB RAM and 64 GB storage. The tablet features a push-to-talk button, volume boost, and can also be used with wet hands or gloves.
Both devices can also be used as a POS system that supports NFC payments on Samsung’s Knox POS platform. Knox Capture makes any device available for barcode scanning and inventory tracking.

Samsung Galaxy Xcover 6 Pro will be released on 10 Monthly available 10 although in the US Carrier, later available through Samsung.com, Samsung Business, Amazon Business, and IT channel partners. Samsung has yet to confirm pricing information.
On the other hand, the Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro is now available from Samsung Business, Amazon Business and Samsung’s IT channel partners starting at $666.
