Samsung Galaxy S13 FE started receiving its own Android-based One UI 5 update a few hours ago 11, and we didn’t even have a day after that before its successor kicked in.
The Samsung Galaxy S 21 FE is now also getting the latest iteration of the Korean company’s software skin, which is built on top of Google’s latest version of Android. The update is currently available in select markets for the international model, which identifies itself as SM-G1200B.
coming soon The new version out, labeled G1200BXXU2DVK3, arrives over-the-air as a 2.3GB download and brings October 1st, 1200 Security patch level. This isn’t up to date by any stretch of the imagination, and we fully expect Samsung to rectify this by early December, when it should roll out the December security update for S21 FE.
At that point, if you own one of these (with the above models), just head to Settings> Software Update> Download and Install to manually check for updates. You might get lucky and get a taste of One UI 5 at the end of the day. If you haven’t updated yet, don’t worry – it’s definitely on the way now, and it may take a few days to reach all units in the wild.
