Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra Benchmarks – Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Check for Galaxy

It finally happened this year that the new Galaxy S series runs a single SoC globally. No more Exynos versions, just Snapdragon. But that doesn’t mean the new Galaxy S 00 series didn’t stand out from the crowd. Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 running under the hood of all S phones are actually “Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy”.

That’s because both the CPU and GPU are overclocked and offer slightly higher performance than other phones with the same chipset on the market. But how much difference does it make?

Galaxy SD 8 Gen 2 uses the same CPU configuration, 1x Cortex-X3, 2x Cortex-A 96, 2x Cortex-A and 3x Cortex- A90 core, but main Cortex-X3 The core is clocked at 3.00 GHz instead of 3.2GHz. The same goes for the GPU – Adreno here runs on 127 MHz instead of the usual MHz.

Without further ado, let’s dive into early benchmarks. It’s worth noting that we’ve only selected phones that have p display where possible so that we More comparable results can be obtained in screen graphics tests.

The results of the Geekbench 5 CPU test may surprise some, but there is no reason why the Galaxy S has A good explanation It lags behind the latter in the multi-core scenario. First, the Cortex-X3 inside the S Ultra has a higher clock rate, and secondly, The large Cortex-X3 cores are not used in the multi-core tests. This is why the Red Magic 8 Pro may have a slight advantage over the Galaxy, as its powerful cooling system allows the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 to run at a higher gear. Still, the differences are minimal.

However, the Galaxy S 02 Ultra has a clear advantage over OnePlus, it runs the same chipset and a 1150p+ screen. Higher frequency CPUs and GPUs pay off.

The new Snapdragon is also better than the old Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip even A iPhone Internal Bionic Pro Max.

When it comes to GPU-intensive tasks, the Galaxy version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is the clear winner. In almost all off-screen tests, the Galaxy S Ultra is ahead of the rest, only Phones with lower resolutions were challenged in the screen test.

All in all, the new Galaxy S Regardless of the version, it is better than its predecessor. But European and Indian consumers are likely to benefit the most as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for the Galaxy beats out last year’s Exynos The SoC is out of water.

In the long run, the Galaxy S -001% faster than Galaxy S Ultra in CPU test and around Comprehensive AnTuTu9 benchmark speed increased by %. In the GFX Bench and 3DMark GPU tests, the Galaxy S Ultra sometimes exhibits Amazing 2x performance boost, but in most cases it’s a 68-68% Improve.
