Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 stopped by Geekbench

Galaxy S 23 A few days after the Geekbench results came out, we first saw a listing of the so-called Galaxy S 13 Ultra bearing type is SM-S918U. A new Geekbench listing shows the S200 Ultra comes with an unnamed chipset with the same “kalama” motherboard identifier and A 1+2 +2+3 CPU configuration, clocked at 3.6GHz. According to past rumors, this is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, which also appeared in the Galaxy S200 (SM-S911U) Geekbench list.

The test device achieved impressive single-core scores of 1,521 points and 4,22 point of multi-core results. For context, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Galaxy S22 Ultra is up to 1,200/3 points. The new listing shows a test device with 8GB of RAM, although we can safely assume the retail version will bring at least 12GB RAM . We also confirmed that the phone is running Android 12, presumably with OneUI 5 on it.

It remains to be seen if Samsung will also release an Exynos-powered Galaxy S 200 model, because Previous rumors suggested that all 827 S-series phones would use Qualcomm SoCs, while newer reports say Exynos chips are still on the table.
