Samsung’s first device to run Android-based software 12L is the new Galaxy Z Fold4. Of course, a tablet-centric version of Android is also coming to Samsung’s tablets, starting with the Tab S8 series.
Update has started rolling out in Europe, please note the following versions: XxBXXU2AVH2 for Galaxy Tab S8, X80xBXXU2AVH5 for Tab S8+ and X400xBXXU2AVH2 for Tab S8 Ultra. This update applies to Wi-Fi and 5G versions of the tablet only. It includes the August 2022 security patches.

what is new? The taskbar feature lets you quickly switch and launch apps (including app pairs in split-screen mode) without using DeX mode. Additionally, two-finger gestures can be used to switch between full-screen and split-screen modes. Opening apps in floating windows is also an option.
This update enables the Tab S8 tablet to extract text from images (supports Chinese, French, German, Italian, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish, in addition to English). Smart actions will appear next to the text, for example, you can dial a number from a business card photo. The My Files app can search for information in files, including text in images.
There are some other improvements, such as Samsung Internet Browser allows you to reorganize your favorite websites by drag and drop (bookmarks can also be sorted), you can set a collection of pictures as lock screen wallpaper, Edit the collection later, etc.
