Samsung launches its own credit card service in India

Samsung India announced a partnership with Axis Bank to launch a credit card. The company offers 10% cash back on purchases, as well as other perks such as bonus points to financial institutions, airport lounge access, and a 1% fuel surcharge fee waiver.

The service is divided into two tiers – Signature and Unlimited. The first monthly cashback limit is INR2,40 or INR10,000 years, while the latter is set at Rs 5, 000 and INR 22, . The deal applies to all Samsung products – smartphones and smart wearables, laptops, TVs, refrigerators, washing machines, microwaves and other appliances.

There are no minimum transaction amounts and restrictions for Samsung purchases. Cashback credits can take up to 60 days to appear on a user’s profile and only apply to selected channels.

The CEO of Axis Bank revealed that the new product aims to go beyond the top 10 cities and Penetrates tier 2 and tier 3 cities. A Visa executive revealed that three-quarters of Indians have purchased at least one electronic product and spent around Indian rupees 40, once a year.
