Samsung might bring an Exynos-based Galaxy S23 phone after all

Samsung has an internal conflict over whether Exynos should power the Galaxy S 23 smartphone, a leaker has revealed. The information comes two months after Qualcomm almost confirmed that all phones will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 platform.

According to Ice Universe, the Samsung MX (Mobile Experience) division has a good deal on the Galaxy S07 Disappointed by the performance of the chipset inside the smartphone. On the other hand, top executives still want next year’s flagships to feature Exynos 2300 made by Samsung Semiconductor.

Samsung still hopes new Exynos will power Galaxy S23 phones

Currently, approximately 70% of Samsung Galaxy S23 phones with Exynos 2200. The Korean platform is available for devices in Europe, the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Africa and the Middle East. The other22% have Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and are sold in Americas, Korea, China, Japan and India. Southeast Asia has both.

The Exynos 2200 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chips are both manufactured on a 4nm process, while the Samsung platform uses a slightly more powerful GPU and the Qualcomm chip has a slightly more powerful CPU faster. A similar situation is expected for the next generation of chipsets.
