Samsung Wallet launched last June, bringing together Samsung Pay and Samsung Pass under one roof. It’s been rolling out globally, and the South Korean company has now announced that the service is expanding to eight new markets, bringing the total to 22.
The new regions are Australia, Brazil, Canada, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan and are scheduled to launch by the end of January.

Samsung has partnered with automakers such as BMW and Hyundai to offer digital key functionality in a range of models. The legacy of Samsung Pass also brings password management and access to cryptocurrencies.
