Samsung has announced its latest line of earbuds, the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. This audio device is at the high end of one of Samsung’s product lines. The company’s original Buds Pro headphones were launched in direct competition with Apple’s Airpod Pro earbuds. They are priced similarly and have similar features. Reliable Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has revealed that the Airpod Pro 2 earphones will be released in September or October, so the announcement and subsequent release date gives Samsung a chance to get the first wave.
Samsung Samsung’s Galaxy Buds 2 Pro are an updated version of the Galaxy Buds Pro launched early last year. The new earbuds shouldn’t be confused with the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 of the same name, released a few months later. The original Galaxy Buds Pro did a great job. It offers long battery life, functional ANC, and most importantly, the sound quality produced is excellent for a set of earbuds. Samsung says its new earbuds will retail for $229.99, slightly more than its sub-$200 predecessor. So, are you getting a lot for the extra $30? Or is the upgrade not worth the 15% increase?
