Samsung has announced its latest line of earbuds, the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. This audio device is at the high end of one of Samsung’s product lines. The company’s original Buds Pro headphones were launched in direct competition with Apple’s Airpod Pro earbuds. They are priced similarly and have similar features. Reliable Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has revealed that the Airpod Pro 2 earphones will be released in September or October, so the announcement and subsequent release date gives Samsung a chance to get the first wave.

What produces the sound is a combination of high dynamic range Hi-Fi 24-bit audio, new coaxial 2-way speakers and Samsung’s seamless codec. The South Korean company claims the audio technology will make its new earbuds produce richer sound than ever before.

Hardware Beyond that, the buds will also benefit from a range of Samsung technologies. This includes the Autoswitch system, which allows users to switch hearing aids between devices with the tap of a finger, and SmartThings Find, which lets you locate a lost device anywhere in the world. The color range of the new earbuds is designed to complement the new line of phones that Samsung also announced today. The “soft neutral shades” available are described as Graphite, White and Bora Violet.
