Seattle Seahawks running back Rashad Penney may not be the big fantasy beneficiary of Kenneth Walker III’s athletic hernia.

The Athletic’s Michael Sean Dugar reports that the Seahawks may deploy a running back, Penny , Travis Homer and Deejay Dallas may all be involved. Penny appears to be turning heads at the end of the 2021 season following a calf injury. In Seattle’s last six games, he ran for 706 yards and six touchdowns. The arrival of Walker, a second-round pick in Seattle’s 2022 NFL draft, clearly lowers Penny the value of. The fact that the 26-year-old didn’t immediately become the primary ball-handler in Walker’s absence also speaks volumes.

Coach Pete Carroll acknowledged that there is still no firm timeline for when Walker will be cleared. The Seahawks will start the regular season on September 12 against the Denver Broncos.

Unless there are new developments until then, fantasy managers should continue to target Penny as RB2 or flex into their lineup. An offense that will activate Geno Smith or Drew Lock at the quarterback position for game play an important aspect of. Pence should get enough touches to make an impact, even if Homer or Dallas suck some of his touches.
