If you ever dreamed of living like a celebrity, now you can—at least for a night, anyway.
Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are offering their Santa Barbara guest house on Airbnb for a one-day stay on August 19. In return, the booking platform is making a donation to Thorn, an organization dedicated to ending the sexual exploitation of children.
While only one lucky family will score a vacation at the Kutcher-Kunis home—where meals will be provided and the actors will greet you upon arrival—thanks to the listing photos, the world gets to see inside the two-bedroom beachside residence.
The white clapboard cottage features an interior with a nautical palette: think oceanic shades of blues, weathered woods, and woven baskets. A deck offers a clear, expansive view of the Pacific—and two Adirondack chairs to enjoy it on. The front of the house, meanwhile, faces the Santa Ynez Mountains.
Kunis and Kutcher advertise that their home is minutes away from the center of town as well as steps away from the beach. (There’s also an outdoor jacuzzi if one’s aquatic interests lie closer to home.) “Our Santa Barbara County beach house is our home away from home, especially when we’re in need of some R&R,” they write in the listing.
While it’s unclear who is the interior designer behind their Santa Barbara house, Vicky Charles of Charles & Co. did their sprawling, sustainable farmhouse in Los Angeles. “We were obsessed with Soho Farmhouse and other projects Vicky spearheaded,” Kunis told Architectural Digest. “We loved the way she mixed fabrics, patterns, textures—really her whole aesthetic.”
No matter who designed it, it’s clear that the family had a desire for it to, well, feel like a home: the guest house is well-appointed and luxurious, sure—just look at that fully outfitted kitchen—but it’s also without pretense. Leaning against the door are two classic beach chairs, while there’s also a hearty selection of board games.
The couple are also just the latest famous faces to put their guest homes on Airbnb—just a few weeks ago, Gwyneth Paltrow offered up the secondary home on her Montecito property. (Are celebrity Airbnbs now officially a thing?)
