There’s an art to capturing a fashion vibe no matter where you’re headed, and today there’s none other than Selena Gomez. The singer and founder of Rare Beauty was spotted in Paris dressed like a real French girl. Or rather, the American take on French girl fashion.

.) The City of Light’s stylish locals never look like they’re trying too hard They just wake up looking totally radiant. Gomez pulled on a minimal all-black look, consisting of a T-shirt and dress pants, and she pulled off the approach with success. However, her choice of knits, draped artfully over the shoulders, added a chic, sophisticated feel to the casual look, as did her accessories: a Chanel clutch, Prada shades, and flip-flop heels.
You could also say that this ensemble fits perfectly with the invisible wealth vibe that took over the spring. But considering Gomez wore it in Paris, the French inspiration was undeniable. We hope she grabs a croissant or cafe inside.
