The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department has arrested singer-songwriter Yuya Arai, better known as Kiro Akiyama for allegedly assaulting a female acquaintance after midnight on Wednesday, Nov. 20. The 20 year-old suspect reportedly assaulted her woman The bodily injury was in his apartment in Shibuya.
According to the police investigation, Arai had a dispute with an acquaintance before being suspected of pulling the acquaintance’s hair and other acts. Police are continuing their investigation and said the suspect admitted the charges.
Arai sang the opening theme “Identity” under the name of Kiro Akiyama
The ending theme song “SKETCH” for the anime season 2 and the current season 6.
