Saturday Night Live Supports its ensemble before season premiere.
NBC Late Night Comedy Show Adds Marcello Hernandez, Molly Kearney, Michael Longfellow and Devon Walker to Feature 2022- Players of the season. They join a cast that has left seven times since the end of last season.
Longtime regulars Eddie Bryant, Pete Davidson, Kate McKinnon and Kyle Mooney Finally got the farewell season 23. Over the summer, regulars Alex Moffat and Melissa Villaseñor and feature player Aristotle Athari also quit SNL. There’s no word yet on whether the rest of last season’s cast will return in full, although it may be announced soon – SNL will begin its season on October 1st.
All four new cast members have their origins in stand-up comedy. Hernandez is the creative director of news/comedy brand Only in Dade and was selected as the new face of comedy earlier this year. Kearney appeared on Prime Video’s A League of their Own series; they were also on Comedy Central’s 2019 part of the “Up Next” showcase. Longfellow appeared on NBC’s Bring the Funny and TBS’s Conan and was named one of TBS’s comics New York Comedy Festival. Walker was a member of Comedy Central’s “Up Next” in and wrote for Everything’s Trash Freeform on Netflix and Big Mouth.
