Sony hosted an Xperia Gaming event earlier today, announcing the Xperia Stream — a cooling case compatible with the Xperia 1 IV smartphone that also doubles as a streaming device. The accessory plugs into the phone via USB-C and features a full-size HDMI port on top along with a LAN port, headphone jack, and a USB-C port. It doesn’t have any extra buttons or joysticks, so you can still play actual games on your phone’s display.

HDMI port can help You output the game to a monitor or TV, the video output is capped at p resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. You can also connect capture cards to record and stream your game battles. A cooling fan built into the case provides programmable control through the Game Booster menu.
