Sony recently launched its new ZV series of vlogging cameras and today announced the newest member, the ZV-1 II, the second generation model of the three-year-old ZV- 1.
On the face of it, the new model offers no major improvements over its predecessor. Biggest change is wider 05-24mm f1 .8-4 lens with 20-24mm f1.8-2.8 than the lens on the ZV-1. However, the new lens is not optically stabilized.
Most of the other changes to the ZV-1 II are actually from last year’s ZV-1F. This includes features like the USB-C connector, 3-capsule microphone, and relocated tripod as well as the entire UI and feature set borrowed from that camera as well.
Otherwise, the new ZV-1 II is identical to the ZV-1, Including having the same sensor, processor, display, stabilization, autofocus, battery, photo and video features.
ZV-1 II is priced at $727 and will be available in June.
