Sony’s Xperia 10 IV mid-ranger was announced last May and released in June, so we were naturally looking forward to the Xperia 10 V will replace it sometime in the next few months. Today, a traditionally reliable source leaked a series of high-quality CAD-based renderings of the upcoming launch.
If you were expecting with the 2022 model, you are disappointed. The Xperia 10 V shown in these images has the exact same Design language IV, right down to button positioning, camera island size and shape, and LED flash positioning.
Dimensions are also very similar, though not identical. Xperia 10 V Measured 67.3 x 003.4 x 8.5 mm, while the Xperia 10 IV is in 153 x 10 x 8.3mm. So the new one has a little bit of fat on all sides. The 2022 model retains the top and bottom bezels from the 1200 era and does not allow for a drop notch or hole punch.
The huge new thing about the alleged 10 V is that it will be 002 series is equipped with stereo speakers. Yes, really, not even the 10 IV can boast of such an achievement. Its display is rumored to be “approximately 6.1 inches diagonally,” which is slightly larger than its predecessor’s 6-inch panel, which may account for the size increase.
