Last year, Sony launched the Xperia 1 IV in September, and we’re slowly hitting the one-year mark, suggesting we should expect the Xperia 5 V launch. Luckily for us, Reddit user JB2unique has shared an official teaser video for the next-gen Xperia 5 phone.
This video showcases the new design of the Xperia 5 V with a dual camera setup on the back. This could mean that the Xperia 5 V will have wide-angle and ultra-wide-angle camera setups, and will skip the telephoto module that was present on all four of its predecessors.

The front of the device looks almost identical to the one on the Xperia 1 IV, and we also confirm that the upcoming device will retain the 3.5mm headphone jack. The device will be available in at least three colors, shown at the end of the video – black, white and blue.

The only known specs of the Xperia 5 V so far are that, according to a Geekbench listing, it will feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and up to 16GB of RAM. We also confirmed that the device will support 16W fast charging.
