Spain to spend 1.9 billion euros on home renovations

MADRID (Reuters) – The Spanish government has approved a 1.9 billion euro ($1.89 million) plan to subsidize housing renovations to make homes more energy efficient, Housing Minister Raquel Sanchez said Tuesday.

The government will fund the programme through EU aid to help member states overcome the impact of the coronavirus – 19 pandemic, she told a news conference.
