Kelly Kay, the former girlfriend of Oregon State tight end Spencer Webb, announced Monday that she is pregnant.
Webb died in July at the age of 22.
“We created an angel before heaven got an angel 🕊 All you want is to be a father,” Kay said on Instagram. “…I know you’re going to be the best person in heaven. Can’t believe I have to do this without you, but knowing I’ll have a part of you keeps me going. I can’t wait I want to meet half you and half mine. I will always love you both 🤍♾🕷🕸 @spider_” ESPN’s Kyle Bonagura reported in July that the Lane County Sheriff’s Office in Oregon said Webb died in a recreational accident. “Webb fell and hit him not far from Triangle Lake, according to the sheriff’s office. The head of Triangle Lake is a popular spot for cliff jumping and natural rock water skiing near Eugene, Oregon,” wrote Bonagura. Webb is entering his fifth season in Oregon football. TMZ Sports pointed out that he and Kay, a model, went public on social media shortly before his death their relationship.
