Stanton breaks 3-run HR to set tone for G5

Stanton sets the tone by beating 3-run HR in G5

NEW YORK — Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge is the majority Expected to provide most of New York’s strength in the playoffs. After all, he hit a major-league-leading 94 home run in the regular season. But teammate Giancarlo Stanton has also been providing the long pass, and again on Tuesday afternoon in the first inning of Game 5 of the American League Division Series against the Guards.

He also tied the MLB record with three career homers in a winner-take-all playoff game, until Judge broke it with his own homer in the next frame.
