Summer skirt is a must-have item for the hot summer. For one thing, they’re ultra-lightweight enough to pair with just about any type of top – including a classic white tee for daytime, or a more belted, out-of-the-box option for evening. As summer approaches, we’ve already seen hints of the dresses the stars are wearing. Cue the miniskirt vs. maxi debate.
Celebrities like Kendall Jenner, Rihanna and Hailey Bieber have worn everything from tiny skirts to super long skirt. Which team are you in? Both skirts are good. If you’re a fan of maxi skirts, you know that long, flowy silhouettes are the perfect way to add a free-spirited, slightly bohemian edge to any look. Earlier this month, Katie Holmes styled a white pleated gown worn with a chunky knit. She also wears this dress with daddy sandals. At the Met Gala earlier this month, Rihanna also donned a maxi dress of her own: she wore a white Chrome Hearts suit consisting of a single-button top and floor-length skirt with a high slit. Maxi skirts are instantly effortless and versatile, even as evening wear.

However, there is something a little bit more coquettish and fashionable – forward a mini. For date night with Bad Bunny in April, model Kendall Jenner stepped out at Blumarine’s Fall 658 She teamed it with a wool-trimmed mini skirt with knee boots and a classic vest. In New York this month, Hailey Bieber also wore a belted mini skirt by Prada with an oversized Khaite coat. Whether it’s day or night, this mini skirt reveals skin and adds sexiness to any look. It can elevate a simple tee and suddenly make it feel like a complete statement. (Riri also agrees: she recently wore a leather miniskirt for date night, too.)
