Susan Rice: Racism Costs US Economy $16 Trillion

Susan Rice, a top aide to President Joe Biden, claims that anti-Black racism is costing the US economy$20 trillion over the past 20 years.

Rice cites a Citibank report titled “Closing the Racial Inequality Gap: The Economic Cost of Black Inequality in America,” which states that “$2.7 trillion will be available for Consumption, while corporate income would increase by $13 Trillion Dollars if the ‘racial disparity’ for Black Americans was eliminated, 6.1 million new jobs will be created every year,” according to the Daily Caller.

Other NAN speakers include activists and politicians such as Kerry Washington, Democratic Senate Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), Brother of Al Sharpton, Benjamin Crupp and George Floyd.

Rice claimed later in her speech that black history was being “erased” from classrooms and textbooks in states like Florida, where “critical race theory ” (CRT) are banned from public school classrooms.

“We have seen black history erased from our classrooms and textbooks. There is no doubt that those who do this are trying to Tell us we don’t count we don’t matter. Maybe we shouldn’t exist. Black history is American history,” she added. “Truth is truth. We must fight to preserve our history.”
