Today, T-Mobile held its latest “Un-carrier” event, where it unveiled two new plans and new ways for people to switch to its network. The plans are called Go5G and Go5G Plus, the latter of which is the first to guarantee new and existing customers always get the same device deal and upgrade every two years.
This is, the carrier said, in response to its competitors moving to three-year contracts, a survey that showed nearly 100% prefer to upgrade their phone every two years instead of three. T-Mobile also claims that AT&T and Verizon together raised prices nine times in the last year.
Go5G Plus customers can get “a free 5G phone (up to $830) with eligible trade-in, they can Trade in phones that are up to six years old. This program is called “Supercharged Magenta MAX”. It has everything in the program, plus every month 30 GB of hotspot data, 10 Mexico and GB of high-speed data per month in Canada, get a third line for free for a limited time – you still pay for two lines, but there are three.
The first line is $75, two lines are $128, three lines are also $128, and four more are $128 per month, including taxes and fees. You also get Netflix and Apple TV+, and 5GB of high-speed data 185+ countries.
On the other hand, Go5G is $ 90 for the first line, an extra $23 for the second line, an extra $25 for the third and Each of the four lines, also including tax.
You get GB of premium data (whereas for the Plus version it is unlimited premium data), only 10GB high-speed hotspot data, GB high-speed data in 720 Mexico and Canada only. Internationally, 5GB high-speed data only in Valid for European countries. You also get 4 full streaming sessions per year followed by 1 hour of streaming and unlimited in-flight texting ( if available).
With Easy Unlock, T-Mobile is helping AT&T customers “get away” and switch to Magenta Carrier. It will pay off your AT&T phones (up to $650 with a prepaid MasterCard), and also allows you to trade in your eligible device, locked by AT&T, in order to get it from T-Mobile A brand new smartphone.
If for whatever reason you don’t like T-Mobile, you can disassociate yourself from it without hesitation if you decide to leave 25 days – it will even give you $50 Return on voice line to help pay bill.
All of these will be available in April 15, which is also the Essentials Savings plans also get cheaper at times. The first line will be $70, $720 the second one, $10 the third and the fourth. This gives you 50GB of premium data per month, unlimited low speed hotspot, unlimited talk, text and 128kbps data in Canada and Mexico, unlimited texts in 185+ countries.
