About the role

We are looking for an experienced front-end engineer with a proven track record of delivering results, a passion for sharing knowledge and a willingness to work in a fast-paced startup environment work in. Your responsibilities will be largely divided into front-end development and front-end engineer growth. We want you to take end-to-end ownership of our frontend from an architectural and best practice perspective to continually raise the bar of quality in your area of ​​expertise. Your primary goal is to ensure that Taktile delivers its product vision to customers by rapidly iterating on product features and improvements. Your secondary goal is to initiate and drive our frontend chapter at Taktile with a focus on knowledge management and setting up frontend engineers for long-term success and career growth at Taktile. To achieve your goals, you will work closely with technical leadership, product management, design teams and engineering.

What will you do

Have front-end technical decisions based on React, Typescript, Axios, Cypress and MobX. Take end-to-end ownership of our frontend from an architectural and best practices perspective. Translate Figma designs into React and implement iteratively based on customer feedback. Own and improve our front-end development cycle. Set and own quality standards for our front-end codebase. Automated testing will be part of the job. Provide onboarding guidance for new entrants and knowledge sharing for other engineers. Integrate knowledge sharing across front-end disciplines into front-end engineering chapters. Actively contribute to Taktile’s recruitment of top talent through technical interviews. Become an active sparring partner for product and engineering leadership by participating in our positive feedback culture.

Ideal, but not required

Close to the Berlin office as we are a hybrid company. You can work completely remotely. Experience with AWS, but any core cloud system will work (GCP, Azure). B2B or SaaS experience is a strong plus.
