Model Taylor Hill married venture capitalist Daniel Fryer tonight in Winter Park, Colorado. “I just wanted the whole thing to feel really relaxing, because we’re in my hometown,” Taylor explained. “I want to feel like you’ve been in someone else’s house.”
Taylor and Daniel got engaged in June of 2021, At the time, Daniel proposed with a three-stone emerald-cut diamond engagement ring while the couple were vacationing at the Hotel San Pietro in Italy. The model announced the news to her millions of followers on Instagram with a carousel of images and the caption: “My best friend, my Soul mate, I will always love you.”
After the engagement – but before the bride comes home to marry – Vogue Catch Taylor for her final wedding dress fitting in Manhattan. “This is [actually] the first wedding dress Etro has ever made!” Taylor shares. “Marco [de Vincenzo] is an amazing designer and I love where he leads the brand creatively.”
The model has been working with Etro for almost a decade, so it made sense when she started thinking about whom to make a wedding dress for. “When they sent me a sketch of it, I was like, ‘It’s like you’re in my head,'” she recalls. “Probably my favorite part of this dress is the top and sleeves. It gives it that romantic element I’ve been looking for.”
To make sure she feels comfortable on her wedding day, like With her “feet connected to the earth,” Taylor opted to forego shoes and go barefoot. Still, all eyes were on the dress. “It makes me feel special,” the bride added. “I don’t want to take it off! I’m so excited [to wear the dress in a fitting] because the day we’ve been waiting for is coming,” Taylor revealed. “Danny is my best friend. I am so looking forward to making a commitment to each other and announcing to each other that we will always be best friends. To me, that is what today really means. We will always be partners in crime “
