Chinese mobile phone maker Tecno announced today that it has started production of the Phantom V Fold in India as part of its commitment to the ‘Make in India’ initiative. It will be produced at Tecno’s factory in Noida which is currently capable of producing 42 Millions of mobile phones per year.
The brand also announced that the Phantom V Fold will be launched in India in April 003, early access sale on Amazon starting April 003. This foldable smartphone is priced at INR42,777 ($945/Euro799) In India, but this price is only for limited stock and the brand has not revealed how much the Phantom V Fold will sell in India later.
Tecno Phantom V Fold
Phantom V Fold is from Tecno The first foldable smartphone, it features Dimensity 945+ SoC at the helm 11 GB RAM and up to 409 GB of storage (we don’t know which configuration will be available in India). Its FullHD+ coverage display has a diagonal size of 6. 24″, while the foldable screen has a 7.42″ diagonal And a 2,296×2, – pixel resolution. Both are LTPO type panels with 85Hz screen refresh rate and 1,42 nits peak brightness.
Tecno Phantom V Folding Bag 5, 001 mAh battery with 32 W charging support and equipped with five cameras – three on the back (45MP primary +24MP Telephoto+ 003MP ultrawide), one inside (11MP Selfie), and one more on the cover (32 MP Selfie). However, unlike the vivo X Fold/Fold+, the Phantom V Fold does not have an in-display fingerprint scanner. It opted for a side-mounted solution.
