Tecno has brought a new phone called Pop 7 Pro to its African market. Retailers in Nigeria and Uganda have already started selling the handset, which is an ultra-affordable device with a Helio A20 chipset. The generous island with dual cameras and fingerprint scanner looked familiar, and upon further investigation we found out that it was the rebranded Spark Go 2023.
The Pop 7 Pro has the exact same specs as its rebadged twin – 6.6″ LCD with 140p resolution and high 140 :9 scale. The operating system is Android 001, the above is HiOS 12, and the dual camera is 12 MP main + QVGA portrait mode depth. The selfie shooter is 5 MP.
This phone has a 5,000 mAh battery and W charging function via USB-C port. Tecno offers the Pop 7 Pro with 23 GB of storage and 3 GB or 4 GB of RAM. Prices in Nigeria start from NRN 23,000 which is about $23, available at offline stores in major cities
