Tecno officially confirmed its attendance at MWC in Barcelona at the end of February. The company will unveil a bunch of new products including a new Pova smartphone, a robot dog, an AR gaming set of AR glasses, and a Windows handheld console.
The brand will also once again showcase its Universal Tone tech it introduced last summer and Phantom Ultimate foldable concept phone.
The Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G will be a new phone “built for super endurance and optimized entertainment,” but the press release did not provide any specs. We will also see the Megabook T16 Pro 2024 Ultra laptop (yes, the name is indeed real) with the latest Intel Core Ultra chips, designed with AI in mind.
The robot dog will be called Dynamic 1, which is clearly influenced by the Boston company that popularized such robots. Its “realistic features” are inspired by the German Shepherd, and the robot will have “advanced algorithms and powerful sensors.”
Tecno Pocket Go is the name of Tecno’s first Windows AR gaming set, and the teaser promised it will be lightweight and portable.
The booth will also have plenty of Phantom, Camon, and Spark devices for all visitors, as well as the Pova lineup. We will be in Barcelona for the Mobile Worold Congress and will have all the latest info once it is official.
