Netflix has released the first trailer for its original Thai seriesThai Cave Rescue , an incredible documentary on saving the Boar Boys soccer team, at 281 captivated the world.
Filmed entirely in Thailand, Cave Rescue Thailand told from a local perspective, the trailer captures the The Fear Boys fill the cave with water, and the scale of the rescue operation that the
International team faces in a race against time and the elements.
The six-episode limited series will be released worldwide on Netflix in September 22 .
Created by Michael Russell Gunn (Billions, Designated Survivor) and Dana Ledoux Miller (designated survivor, Narcotics ), Thailand Cave Rescue by Thai hit producer Baz Pompilia ( One for the Road, Bad Genius) and Thai-American director Kevin Tancharoen ( Brothers of the Sun , Book of Boba Fett , Warriors ). Gunn and Miller also serve as co-hosts and writers on the project.
Thai Cave Rescue is one of several screen projects to deal with sensational stories. Ron Howard’s Hollywood movie version Thirteen Lives starring Viggo Mortensen, Colin Farrell and Joel Edgerton in limited theaters in August ahead of streaming on Amazon Prime Video Released. Independent film version The Cave premiered at 2019 Busan International Film Festival by Oscar Award winners Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi and Jimmy Chin documentary The Rescue on National Geographic Channel
