Thailand considers more measures to support energy prices: Deputy PM

BANGKOK (Reuters) – Thailand’s cabinet will consider extending diesel excise tax relief on Tuesday as the government still needs to support prices to cushion the impact of high energy prices, the prime minister said on Monday.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy Supatana Pongpong Micho told reporters that the electricity subsidy will also be submitted to the Cabinet for approval.
