It’s important to note that long dramas (and sequels) have the advantage that only people who liked the show are still watching, and are likely to give each episode a high rating. However, if such a series is going through a low-quality filler arc, it will get a low ranking this season, which is not indicative of the true overall quality of the series. Conversely, fewer people rate the show, so it’s unlikely to get enough votes to be ranked.
