At the beginning of the design process, Charrière Made numerous trips to Mango’s headquarters in Barcelona and worked directly with their in-house design and production teams. “We started with mood boards and looked at hundreds of old photos for inspiration. I was determined to create a collection that felt timeless because I didn’t want something too trend-driven,” she told us. The party series is designed to transport you into the late iconic nightlife 87 and early 807 through sequin mini dresses, body-hugging slip dresses, satin mini dresses, etc.

It also perfectly captures the bicultural heritage of Charrière, who grew up in Paris and then moved to London, where she currently place to live. “Girls tend to dress low key in France; they like to look low key and effortless. They don’t change between what they wear during the day and what they wear at night, and if they do, it’s never going to be like you are here ( London) is so vibrant,” she elaborated. “In London, it’s the opposite. People are very keen to dress up and we have a lot of occasions to dress up. I wanted to find a middle ground so everyone in the collection would have something – a girl who likes to dress up and a girl who likes to dress up. .” For Charrière, no one in her imagination would wear the collection. “I want as many girls and guys as possible to find something they love and make it theirs,” she said. “I love seeing what people wear on the street, especially when they’re wearing something completely different from what I’m wearing, so my dream is to see people style the collection in ways I wouldn’t have thought of. I think that’s what What makes the capsule collection come alive.”

“I love these boots too – they’re simple and go with anything. You can wear them under pants or with dresses, I think It’s super versatile and fun.” And resistance? Of course, a nude dress is paired with an equally festive sparkling lingerie. Charrière understands that not everyone wants to wear a naked dress without adequate coverage. “We’ve seen a lot of full nudity and there’s always the question, when you’re wearing that, what are you wearing underneath? I wanted to offer an option for girls who don’t feel comfortable wearing something so light. Underwear It also felt like a party piece,” she told Vogue. She imagined styling the pieces under the collection’s coats to add a touch of sensuality and sparkle.
