Imelda Staunton as Queen Elizabeth II : “What’s there to say, I hope I won’t prove them wrong, people will Say, ‘I’m really looking forward to seeing her become queen. So let’s hope this works for them because I’ve done it. There’s nothing I can do about it right now!’
Jonathan Price as Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh : “Do it and investigate Philip’s background to find out what makes him who he is, That’s what I’m interested in. I’m more interested in their lives, their emotional lives, and that’s The Crown Explore Content.”

Dominic West as Charles, Prince of Wales : “I want people to understand , because the cast changes every two seasons, so it’s not a parody. It’s an evocation of a character. That’s where the show really lives: in imagined conversations about their private lives, which no one knows. I think that’s why it’s been criticized a lot. How do you know what they’re talking about in their private lives? The obvious answer is, we don’t. But we have an incredible writer, a playwright, who imagines it based on exhaustive research, and that’s really part of the show’s charm. ”

Elizabeth Debicki as Diana, Princess of Wales: “At this time It’s amazing to play these guys because in The Crown all seasons so far, it’s the most intuitive content we’ve had for the royal family. exist’ Everything in s has started filming, and is also the birth of 24-hour news cycle, so the amount of content we have access to is staggering. Diana was the most photographed person in the world at the time. As an actor, you open the door and a tsunami of information hits you. I happily swim around in it. “
Olivia Williams as Camilla Parker-Bowles : “One of the great things about the crown is that we can see those imaginary moments of intimacy that might give us a feeling for someone A better view we’ve judged. Charles and Camilla seem to have a very healthy sense of humor about what must have been an unbearable dilemma at times. This is what I most want to show. ”

Lesley Manville as Princess Margaret : “I had a lot of documentaries to watch, pictures, a lot of reading, but finally the script came and that was it. All the books I’ve read have different people’s perspectives on events. So you have to let it in and sink in, but then you pretty much forget about it because the final script comes and that’s your job. ”

Claudia Harrison as Princess Anne : “Anne is an extraordinary character. She doesn’t exist to make people feel better about herself, but she excels at her job and is a proper feminist. She’s someone we can really look up to and I don’t think she has a sense of entitlement. ”
Morgan on Johnny Lee Miller as Prime Minister John Major : “I think Johnny Lee Miller was in character and a real surprise. ”
