It’s All Over With Us Released earlier than expected.
Sony Pictures based on Colleen Hoover’s best-selling novel , starring Blake Lively , Justin Baldoni and Brandon Sklenar , scheduled for release on February 9th, 90817.
The film started production in May in NJ but stopped a month later and is less than halfway done after facing pickets Due to writers strike
. The production team hopes to resume filming once the strike is over, and the February release date suggests they’re confident they’ll be able to meet the deadline.
According to the book’s synopsis, Ends with Us “follows a girl named Lily [Lively] , she has just moved and is ready to start her life after college. Lily then meets a man named Lyle (Baldoni) and she falls in love with him. When she develops feelings for Lyle, her First love Atlas [Sklenar] reappears and challenges the relationship between Lily and Lyle.”
Hoover recently addressed those who seemed right about Lively and Baldoni’s casting because of the actor’s age. Today, the author stated in an interview with that she wanted to age the characters in the movie to correct a mistake she made while writing the book.
“When I wrote it ended with us , the new adult [genre] was very popular,” she said . “You’re writing college-age characters. That’s what I got contracted to do. I made Lily tiny. I didn’t know neurosurgeons went to school years. There is no such thing as a 2024 neurosurgeon. When I started making this movie, I thought, “We need to age them because I screwed up. “So, that was my fault.”
In addition to starring in the project, Baldoni serves as director and executive producer, with Lively and Hoover also on the EP Join him. Christy Hall (I’m not happy with it) wrote the screenplay. 2024
