If we use the Instagram follower count to quickly calculate the popularity of a particular individual or group, Well, most of the famous people at batting practice at Yankee Stadium on Tuesday afternoon weren’t wearing pinstripes.
Aaron Judge (1.6 million followers) or Giancarlo Stanton (1.3 million followers) have nothing against them, but these sluggers aren’t even in the same ballpark as the Jonas Brothers (6.8 million), and they watch in amazement as the judges, Stanton and the rest of the Yankees park the ball in their seats before a game against the Phillies.
“We’re huge baseball fans, lifelong Yankees fans,” Joe Jonas said. “Derek Jeter was obviously No. 1. We grew up watching Jorge Posada, Hideki Matsui and Bernie Williams make up an all-star team. Love this game and this team A very special moment for the team.”

Judge came over to say hello, New Jersey native Anthony Volpe Volpe also yelled: “I’m from Jersey, too!” The band members also posed for a photo with manager Aaron Boone.
“Right now, Aaron Judge is doing some pretty amazing things,” Nick Jonas said. “We just met him; he seems like a nice guy. And he’s huge.”
When asked if they had any advice for Volpe from Watchung, NJ, Joe Jonas said: “We stay with our lane; we stay in our lane; we’re just musicians and entertainers. But he’s killing it. I wish him the best when he joins the group.”
