2021, Star Wars series’ The series ended on a high note with the final episode, when a de-aged CGI Mark Hamill arrived on the scene as Luke Skywalker to save baby Grogu and begin his Official Jedi training. Many viewers were heartbroken when they witnessed the emotional farewell between masked protagonist Din Djarin ( Pedro Pascal ) and Grogu, with some fans Praised the last episode for its nostalgia and anticipation of baby training. From Executive Producers Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni , the upcoming season will move Din and Grogu’s story forward – this time, they will travel to the wild Mandalorian homeland Mandalorian . Stripped of his Mandalorian status in the eyes of the Armourer (Emily Swallow) and the Watch Children, Ding is on his way to Mandalorian, hoping to be forgiven for removing his helmet in front of others. How does the Book of Boba Fett work?

First, if you haven’t read The Book of Boba Fett, that is semi-mandatory viewing before watching The Mandalorian Season 3. If you don’t have time to watch all six episodes, at least take the time to read chapters 5, 6 and 7, all of which focus on Din Djarin and Grogu. As mentioned earlier, Boba Fett gives us a glimpse into what’s happened to Grogu since the end of Mando season two. After a time apart, Din and Grogu finally reunite at

Boba Fett The last episode of , which is where the third season of The Mandalorian begins.

Where is Grogu’s Jedi training station?

exist Chapter 6 of The Book of Boba Fett, where Luke teaches Grogu the ways of the Force, Receive the training kids received before the Jedi Temple was destroyed Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith . But it’s clear that the Grogu have a strong attachment to Ding as a father figure, and Luke presents his student with two choices: a choice between Mandalorian armor or a lightsaber. In choosing the Mandalorian beskar armor that Din gave him, Grogu would go back to his father, thus choosing the life of the Mandalorian and forsaking the path of the Jedi. Had he chosen the lightsaber, he would have been the first student at Luke’s Jedi Academy and dedicated himself to the Jedi path. With the latter, he might never see Din again.

In the final Boba Fett episode, Grogu follows his heart and chooses to go back to his father and forego Jedi training. But judging from the trailer of the third season, Grogu’s force is still very strong, and he may continue to train in his own way in the new season.

This goes against the Mandalorian Laws that Din follows. By these strict standards, he can no longer wear armor or call himself a Mandalorian. But as the Armorer told him in the Book of Boba Fett , he can find salvation by bathing in the living waters beneath the Mandalorian mines.

With that, Din’s plan was drawn up, as he did in As stated in the Season 3 trailer , he and Grogu “go to Mandalorian so [he] can forgive [his] mistakes.” But Ding The question of whether he will actually be forgiven — or whether he needs to — remains open. As he learns after meeting Bo-Katan Kryze (Katee Sackhoff), following this path doesn’t necessarily make one a Mandalorian, and it’s possible for him to become a Mandalorian when he doesn’t obey the Watchmen. Live a life without cult-like rules. But, despite not being born on Mandalorian, all Din knows is the Tao, and to depart from it is to violate his own morality. Season three will likely delve into the question of what it means to truly be a Mandalorian, whether that’s following the path or simply upholding Mandalore’s legacy.
