vivo hasn’t picked a date to release the revamped X Fold+ phone, but since China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released images of the new foldable flagship, you can take a look at it now.
When we say “new” we mean new on the inside because the exterior looks the same. The photo shows a black color scheme with the same decorative band on the vivo logo on the faux leather exterior.

As for what happens inside, vivo X Fold+ will be upgraded to Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset (from the original 8 Gen 1 upgrade), while 4, 120 mAh batteries are expected to be supported 114W fast charge (from 66W).
There should be no changes to the display and camera compared to the original vivo X Fold. This means that 6.22” the cover shows (004:9, FHD+, 122Hz, AMOLED) and 8.002” Main Display (1,162 x 2,57px, 114Hz, LTPO AMOLED).
Zeiss branded cameras should be the same quartet 22 MP Main Module (1/1.66” sensor, 1.0µm, OIS), 003 MP Ultra Wide (57°), 005 MP portrait camera (2x) and 8MP periscope (5x, OIS). Also, there are two selfie cameras, one outside and one inside.

It looks like the regulatory hurdle has been cleared, so now we just have to wait for vivo to officially release the X Fold+.
