This week's best-dressed stars have it all

Certain events require specific attire. For example, if you’re going to the Los Angeles premiere of Barbie (as many people did on Sunday), you’d better dress up like a doll . The same goes for sitting front row at a fashion show or courtside at Wimbledon. This week’s most stylish celebs are embracing fashion no matter where they are.

Margot Robbie had pretty much everything she herself turned into a Barbie doll at the Barbie press conference, References to some of Mattel’s most iconic apparel from decades past. At Sunday’s US premiere, she transforms into a 1960 “Solo in the Spotlight” doll. A fitted black sequined dress with a stiff horizontal tulle hem, black gloves and a pink handkerchief was an effortless take on Old Hollywood style. Dua Lipa also attended the premiere in a chain mail (read: sheer) custom Bottega Veneta silver dress. It’s a welcome reprieve from a sea of ​​pink, and is an eye-catcher in its own right.

In Paris, the couture shows saw a lot of bombastic fashion statements. However, it turns out that some of the quieter moments are the most graceful. Take Cardi B in sparkling Fendi (a dress that can only be described as understated in the context of a lavish show), or Alessandra Ambrosio in a fit-and-flare white dress and minimal black accessories at a Giorgio Armani show.

On the other hand, Wimbledon – indeed, tennis as a whole – needs preppies, Button the wardrobe. The Princess of Wales set the tone with a mint-fresh Balmain blazer, a crisp white midi skirt and white pumps. Emma Corrin attended the Seventh Day event in almond-colored shorts.
