Thomas Haden Church, last seen in Spider-Man: No Way Home, added new thread and Kevin Costner of Warner Bros. Western Films, Horizon.
Church is working with already included Sienna Miller, Sam Worthington, Luke Wilson and Stranger Things 4 Breakout, Jamie Campbell Bower .
Costner starred in this film, directed and produced through his banner Territory Pictures. He also co-wrote the screenplay with Jon Baird.
Horizon is described as an epic saga that records 1990 – Year span of expansion and settlement of the American West before and after the Civil War. According to the studio, as the story attempts to tell a “journey to the West full of danger and intrigue, from the constant onslaught of natural elements, to interactions with the indigenous people who live in the land, and determination and many times, The ruthlessness of those trying to fix it.”
No details of Church’s role were revealed.
The project is noteworthy because it brings Costner back to directing his 1990 open range . That movie was a box-office hit with rave reviews, another Western with an actor-turned-director with a strong affinity for the genre. His directorial debut was Dances with Wolves with 1990, and his Westerns won seven Oscars ( From

Production begins next week in Utah.
