Cannes Palme d’Or winner Titans rising star Agathe Rousselle will lead the sci-fi drama Low Orbit
from producer Uri Singer, the man behind the Netflix adaptation of Don DeLillo White Noise.
Low Orbit The story of a failed colony on another planet, the wife of a female shuttle pilot and a cryogenic cryo engineer A romance developed between them, and the engineer had been ordered to transport it off the planet. The project is described as Moon meets Mood for Love.
Nguyen-Anh Nguyen, the Vietnamese-Canadian director behind the popular fantasy and sci-fi shorts Akira Project and Hyperlight , will guide the project. Adam Bradley co-authored this document with Nguyen.
The singer recently debuted White Noise directed by Noah Baumbach at the Venice Film Festival. The film starring Adam Driver and Greta Gerwig will open at the New York Film Festival. Singer’s upcoming work includes another DeLillo adaptation, Underworld, which is set on Netflix and will be written and directed by Ted Melfi.
