Timothée Chalamet is dreaming of Apple TV+ and its star-studded lineup of movies and shows, as revealed in a newly released promotional campaign for the streaming service.
At the beginning of the Friday ad, Dune Actors in theater after watching anchor’s movie CODA , which won the Oscar for Best Picture. Looking a bit jealous, Chalamet said to his friend, “I had two Best Picture nominations last year.” His friend replied, “Yeah, no, I know. You’re great.” Recognized, asked, “Yeah, you think so?”
Ad continues Bones and All The star ranges from fan events to photo shoots and press conferences. But in the meantime, he continues to be distracted by the list of Hollywood names on Apple TV+ that don’t include himself.
Items featured in ad include Causeway documentary with Jennifer Lawrence, Selena GomezSelena Gomez: My Mind & Me, Ted Lasso by Jason Sudeikis, Severance and Black starring Bird. “ Severance is weird,” Chalamet once said to himself. “I can do weird things.”
He even had a FaceTime call with Jason Momoa before The author said he had just wrapped his new Apple line, War Chief . When Chalamet seemed surprised and questioned the Aquaman cast about a new show with the company, Momoa replied, “At this point, who No?” That’s the question the Lady Bird actor sadly knows the answer to.
In the final clip, Chalamet shows up when he sees Martin Scorsese’s upcoming Killers of the Flower Moon , he was lying in bed looking for something to watch, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro, on the platform’s home screen. As he reclined on the bed, seemingly eager for the chance to appear on the streaming service, the actor leaned into the camera and said, “Hey Apple, call me.”
