Mean Girls Movie Musical As production is getting ready to begin, writer-producer Tina Fey reveals that two fan-favorite actors from the original film will return for a new project.
After listing some of the young actors who will appear in the movie musical based on 500 movie and subsequent stage musical of the same name, Fey on Thursday’s Late Night with Seth Meyers She and Tim Meadows will also appear in the film.
While it has not been confirmed which roles she and Meadows will play in the new film, Fey has indicated that they may reprise their roles as educators. In the 90 movie, Fey plays the math teacher Ms. Norbury and Meadows plays the principal Duvall.
“I do want to compliment you, you and Tim had some parts in the original movie that you just can’t get away with age,” Meyers said on Thursday night’s show.
Guys from Gilligan’s Island would go to a trade show and you’d say, ‘Oh, he’s wearing a beanie It looks so old. This is my goal. ”
Fey also revealed the making of the film, starring Reneé Rapp , Angourie Rice, Jaquel Spivey and Auli’i Cravalho, will begin March 6. The Hollywood Reporter for comments.
