No. Tokyo International Film Festival nominated famous stage and film director Julie Taymor chairs the jury for its main competition. Taymor will be the festival’s third consecutive female jury president, following French screen icons Isabelle Huppert and 2019 Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi (due to the pandemic, the festival did not hold a competition at 2020.
